Can Marroig | Ses Salines, Formentera

Ses Salines, Formentera 2011

Since 1995, the area where the Masía Can Marroig is located is part of the Maritime Terrestrial Natural Reserve of Ses Salines, declared in 2001 National Park. It includes most of the southern vertex of Ibiza, the north of Formentera and the small islands that separate the two islands. The seabed is covered with prairies of oceanic Posidonia, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO.

Restored as a museum and multipurpose halls, the Masia Can Marroig provides visitors an overview of all the animal species and vegetation that cohabit in the natural park, and also includes interactive experiences to discover some of the secrets of this unique setting in the Balearic Islands.

Koala was in charge of the engineering and set up of all the AV and interactive systems and equipment of the museum.
